Description

The KLIM Override Alloy Pant is built for riders who need warmth and breathability in equal measure. Designed as the lower-body companion to the Override Alloy Jacket, this hybrid insulated mid-layer combines targeted synthetic insulation with strategically placed moisture-wicking fleece to create exceptional comfort during active winter riding. The updated design uses lightweight 20D ripstop nylon fabric and 60 grams of stretch insulation in the upper front and back leg areas to retain warmth where it matters most, while breathable fleece lining and stretch construction help regulate temperature and improve mobility. Engineered specifically for in-the-boot layering, the Override Alloy Pant eliminates bulk around the lower legs for a more comfortable fit inside snowmobile boots and under a GORE-TEX® shell. Lightweight, breathable, and versatile, the Override Alloy Pant is basically designed for riders who want to stay warm without feeling like they're wrapped in a sleeping bag.

Reviews and Q&A

FAQs

The Override Alloy Pant uses a hybrid design with targeted insulation and breathable fleece zones to improve airflow and temperature regulation during active riding. It prioritizes comfort during high-output activities while still providing meaningful warmth.
No. The Override Alloy Pant is designed as a technical mid-layer and should be worn underneath waterproof outerwear. Its primary focus is warmth, breathability, and moisture management rather than weather protection.
The Override Alloy Pant earns a 3/10 warmth rating. The 60g insulated upper leg sections provide core warmth while the breathable fleece zones help prevent overheating during active use.
By reducing bulk around the lower legs, the pant fits more comfortably inside snowmobile boots and eliminates bunching that can occur with traditional insulated layers.
The Override Alloy Pant is ideal for riders who generate a lot of body heat while riding but still want insulation in key areas. Honestly, it's built for people who spend half the ride climbing, digging, and working hard enough to sweat, then immediately stop and start feeling cold.
