Moisture Management Technology

The MMT Two Stage Dry System is a dual layer waterproof/breathable seam-sealed lining system. The first layer is a 5000/2000mm laminated outer shell that repels 99% of initial moisture. The second layer is a fully seam-sealed inner lining with a 5000/2000mm MMT waterproof/breathable membrane. The layer of air between the two layers allows the MMT membrane to run at a higher operating temperature than other garments that have the waterproof membrane laminated to the outer shell. The result is highly increased breathability and reduced condensation and frosting on the inside of the jacket, similar to the function of a dual pane window. MMT Two Stage Dry Technology incorporates the Dry Vent System which features waterproof vent zippers backed with Dry Vent Mesh to keep snow and moisture from entering when the vent zippers are open.
