BCA - Probes & Shovels

BCA Stealth quick-lock avalanche probes feature the easiest and fastest assembly on the market, with no loose cable to cause hang-ups. The top segment stealthily nests inside the next probe section, reducing the number of segments and size of the probe bundle when disassembled in your pack. Depth markings are on all BCA probes for measuring snowpack and/or victim depth to determine the dimensions of excavation area before shoveling. Our bombproof line of BCA shovels have an oval shaft and welded, "ferrule-less" blade, making them stronger and more packable than any other avalanche shovel on the market. The weak part of most snow shovels is where the shaft connects to the blade. This is where BCA has put the most attention to detail and strength.
