Description

The FXR Mens Ascend Softshell Jacket delivers lightweight warmth, rugged weather protection, and all-day comfort for riders who live through real northern winters. Built from durable polyester and spandex softshell fabric with HydrX 8K waterproof and breathable technology, this jacket handles snow, wind, and changing trail conditions without slowing you down. The fleece-lined interior adds comfortable warmth while waterproof zippers and FXR Dry Vent side body ventilation help regulate temperature during active riding and outdoor work. A removable adjustable hood, adjustable cuffs, and shock-cord hem help seal out cold air when winter decides to get aggressive. Waterproof zippered pockets provide secure storage for essentials while the chest pocket includes a D-ring and S-clip for added utility. Whether you are chasing fresh snow or fueling the sled before sunrise, this jacket is built for northern outdoor life that rarely stays warm for long.

Reviews and Q&A

FAQs

Yes. The HydrX 8K laminate provides dependable waterproof and breathable protection for snowy and wet winter conditions. It keeps you dry during trail rides and outdoor work much better than relying on luck and an old sweatshirt.
Absolutely. The FXR Dry Vent system helps release excess heat during aggressive riding while the breathable softshell construction improves comfort and mobility on long rides and changing trail conditions.
The fleece-lined interior and Warmth Rating 3 provide reliable warmth for cold northern conditions while still allowing comfortable movement. It works great for riding, winter travel, and everyday outdoor use without excessive bulk.
The inside D-ring and S-clip help secure smaller valuables like keys or trail essentials inside the chest pocket. It is a handy feature for riders tired of fishing through pockets while wearing thick winter gloves.
Yes. The removable adjustable hood allows you to customize the jacket depending on conditions and riding preferences. Some days you want maximum coverage and other days the hood stays parked faster than the sled trailer after first snowfall.
