The Extreme Max In-Bed Spare Tire Mount provides excellent versatility when it comes to carrying your spare in the bed of your pickup truck while eliminating the bouncing and rolling experienced when carrying a loose spare. The universal design mounts nearly anywhere in your truck's bed and adjusts its height to match both the bed's sidewall and the tire size. While mounted the tire sits vertically against the sidewall, keeping much of the floor open and ready to take on more cargo. After its initial installation, no tools are required while storing or removing your tire from the mount as its unique winged wheel plate provides all the leverage needed to unscrew the lug bolt. The mount features a sleek black powder coat finish to protect it from the elements and locking holes to secure the tire with a cable lock if desired (lock sold separately). Note: Do not install the carrier in aluminum truck beds.
