Description

The Castle X Women's Charge ATOP Boot is built for riders who spend real time in northern winter, from early trail starts to long stops at the lake landing. Its waterproof Castle DRY-X® membrane, treated shell materials, and 3-layer Merino Wool blend insulation help keep feet protected when snow dust, slush, and biting wind are part of the day. The Atop® Reel Knob Lacing System makes it easy to fine tune fit without wrestling frozen laces, while the molded high abrasion toe and high traction rubber sole add durability where snowmobile boots take abuse. Comfortable support underfoot and reflective elements round out a boot that feels ready for the ride, not just the warm-up in the garage.

Reviews and Q&A

FAQs

Yes. They use a fully integrated Castle DRY-X® waterproof membrane with weatherproof treated shell materials, including a 1000D nylon upper and Armstrong PU coated leather. That combination is meant to help block snow, slush, and wet trail conditions while still being practical for active snowmobile use.
Castle X lists these boots as rated down to minus 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Real comfort still depends on your socks, circulation, activity level, and how long you are standing around. For long stops on the trail, quality moisture wicking socks are still your best friend.
The Atop® Reel Knob Lacing System lets you fine tune fit with a dial instead of fighting traditional laces. It is especially handy when your hands are cold or gloved, and the quick release design makes getting out of the boots easier after a long ride.
They are built with a durable high traction rubber sole, EVA footbed, and molded high abrasion toe, so they are practical for walking around the trailer, fuel stop, cabin, or fishing access. They are still snowmobile boots, so expect winter protection first and sneaker-like flex second.
